Paper #1 Reflection
When I went to revise my essay, I started off by focusing on the edits my peer provided. Once I finished those edits, I went back and reread my essay. I wanted to add more to one of my paragraphs, so I added more quotes from the piece of writing I was discussing. I find it difficult to edit my own piece of writing, because I sometimes believe what I wrote was good, but it turns out that it wasn’t. I struggle to get my point across, therefore writing is difficult for me.

Paper #2 Reflection
When I went to finish/revise my essay, I started by completing my actually essay. Once I had everything written out completely, I went back to the notes that Professor McCarthy provided for me. After I finished her edits, I went back and reread the essay. I always looked at the feedback given for my first essay and looked through my second essay, and made sure I didn’t repeat any silly mistakes. I added some more quotes and explanations to lengthen my essay, and I fixed any grammatical errors. Editing this essay was definitely easier than editing the previous essay, because I think I understood the readings more.
